3D printing questions

Prices, speed, files, sizes, pickup and privacy. Anything else, text (512) 399-2625.

How much does 3D printing cost?

It depends on size, plastic and quantity. Small parts often cost a few dollars of plastic and machine time. Every job gets a free quote first, so you see the price before anything prints.

How fast can I get my print?

Small jobs are often ready the next day or two. Your quote has the real ready date. In a hurry? Say so in your request or text us and we tell you straight away whether we can make it.

What files can you print?

STL, 3MF, STEP and OBJ, plus OpenSCAD and CadQuery code from an AI chat. No file? A clear photo of the part next to a ruler is enough to start a simple replacement.

How big can you print?

Up to 256 mm (10 in) on each side on most of our printers, and up to about 340 mm on the large one. Bigger things we print in sections that fit together.

Where do I pick up?

Pickup in the Austin area is arranged with your quote. We can also ship anywhere in the US.

Is my design kept private?

Yes. We use your file only to make your order and never share or sell it. Ask if you need an NDA signed first.

Do you print resin or metal?

No. We print plastic on Bambu Lab FDM printers. For resin miniatures or metal parts we will tell you, and point you elsewhere.

Is there anything you will not print?

Weapons or weapon parts, keys you do not own, safety-critical parts, and other people's designs you do not have the right to use.
